The PDWM8700 is a wireless microphone systems supporting up to 8 channels, with 4 lavalier/headset mics and 4 handheld mics included. It’s equipped with 1/4" individual and mixed line outputs, so you can simplify the mixing process, or use your own mixer -- it's up to you. The wireless receiver is rack-mountable for easy integration into your rig. Compatible with four separate sets of wireless transmission frequencies, so you can use multiple PDWM8700s or other wireless microphone systems in your setup without worrying about interference. Dual telescoping antennas ensure quality wireless transmission, and on/off broadcasting switches allow you to easily manage all your wireless mics.

These are quality mics that were affordable and sound excellent. It's an easy system to set up and operate, everything was included to get started. Nothing feels cheap or junky about any of the parts. It really doesn't have the clarity and power that you might get out of a single microphone plugged into an amp because it's simply multiple mics running off it's own antenna receiver. However, it works perfectly for getting voices heard over a conference, church- something like that, it's perfect. And, it allows multiple people to have a mic and not have to pass one around.. that is always awkward and wastes time. It's a fantastic system! I posted a video that hopefully shows the system well and shows you all that it comes with and how it works.

Bought this for my youth group - plays, skits, and singing on occasion. The mikes and headsets work ok. The levaliers only work if you hold them in your hand and put them next to your mouth. I wouldn't buy these for lapel operation. Otherwise, they'll do the job fine. (The customer service/tech support person knew about the problem almost before I spoke. Suggested I turn up the receiver and put it as close to my mouth as possible. I said I'd already tried that and the only way it worked was to hold it in my hand and speak directly into it like a handheld. I told him it was supposed to be a lapel mike. He said I know. Not very helpful at all.)

I prefer the handheld microphones as i tend to be more animated as i speak than most but both style microphones are definitely high quality with excellent reception.
I recently used the system in a packed auditorium seating 250 persons and the system functioned excellent!
