I took a chance ordering this mic at te last minute for a Press & Media assignment I had and was blown away by the sound quality! Very low noise if any. Powered by 9volt battery consumes very little power I attach the reciever to the hand strap on my Video camera no mixer needed and I get the best audio for my video interviews and on location shoots.
