This review is from: Nady 16-Channel UHF Wireless System for Guitar and Bass (MGT-16A) (Electronics) I purchased this for my daughter who plays a 6-string bass through a 350watt Fender Amp. It operates flawlessly - you can't tell the difference between it and a cable. She now has the ability to step of stage and interact with spectators while playing. It was very easy to set up and 3 practices and 3 gigs - it's still on the same battery. We highly recommend this product. 2 of 3 people found the following review helpful Variable Hissing Noise on Every Channel, By Hojat I Salehi (New York, NY United States) - See all my reviews This review is from: Nady 16-Channel UHF Wireless System for Guitar and Bass (MGT-16A) (Electronics) I own this item and have used it in conjuncetion with an Aria Sinsonido Nylon string guitar and an Ibanez Troubadour Amp. I really like the design and the small size, but this product ultimately let me down on functinality. Every note played is acompanied by a highly audible "hiss" which goes away when the strings are muted. I experimented for hours with changing transmission channels, as well transmitter, receiver and amp settings, and tried an assorment of long, short, regular and gold plated cables, but could not get rid of the "hissing" sound... Meanwhile, when I connected my guitar to the amp directly using any of the cables, I got crystal clear sound. It appears that this device is not capable of transmitting clear signals. This might be still do for playing loud and distorted power chords in a hard rock piece, but is certainly inadequate for finger picked Bossa Nova... Worked Wonderful - Really Good Performance, This review is from: Nady 16-Channel UHF Wireless System for Guitar and Bass (MGT-16A) (Electronics) This is great! Had no feedback and allowed our church guitarist a great range to play in. We hope to go wireless on the rest of the band soon. |

It's an easy system to set up and operate, everything was included to get started. Nothing feels cheap or junky about any of the parts. It really doesn't have the clarity and power that you might get out of a single microphone plugged into an amp because it's simply multiple mics running off it's own antenna receiver. However, it works perfectly for getting voices heard over a conference, church- something like that, it's perfect. And, it allows multiple people to have a mic and not have to pass one around.. that is always awkward and wastes time. It's a fantastic system! I posted a video that hopefully shows the system well and shows you all that it comes with and how it works. 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful Levaliers are useless! O/w OK., By Amazon Verified Purchase( What's this?) This review is from: Pyle-Pro Rack Mount 8 Channel Wireless Microphone System with 4 Lavalier/Headsets and 4 Handheld Mics (PDWM8700) (Electronics) Bought this for my youth group - plays, skits, and singing on occasion. The mikes and headsets work ok. The levaliers only work if you hold them in your hand and put them next to your mouth. I wouldn't buy these for lapel operation. Otherwise, they'll do the job fine. (The customer service/tech support person knew about the problem almost before I spoke. Suggested I turn up the receiver and put it as close to my mouth as possible. I said I'd already tried that and the only way it worked was to hold it in my hand and speak directly into it like a handheld. I told him it was supposed to be a lapel mike. He said I know. Not very helpful at all.) 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful Pyle-Pro Microphone System Review (PDWM8700), By Dave Lee (Phoenix, Arizona United States) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase( What's this?) This review is from: Pyle-Pro Rack Mount 8 Channel Wireless Microphone System with 4 Lavalier/Headsets and 4 Handheld Mics (PDWM8700) (Electronics) System was installed in a large lodge room. Installation was fast and easy. It was installed with an existing Amplifier/Mixer. After some simple adjustments, the system worked well except for one hand held microphone, which cut out and lost connection with the receiver. We returned the microphone to the vendor and it was promptly returned as needing no repairs. The rest of the system works well so we kept the installation without the use of the one mike. It would have been better to have all four mikes working but with our installation, three were sufficient. |
